My Otter Creek Gang

I Love These Women!

Today we went to Richland Country Club (thanks to Sara's father-in-law!) for our annual Christmas luncheon. It was wonderful! Any time I get to spend with these amazing women is a gift, and I am very thankful to be one of "Pat's Girls!"

Turkey Day at Mimi & Papa's

How I wish I had a digital photo of the "Kids Table" from ten years ago... lots of braces, all natural color hair and no boyfriends (no offense Cody and Rodrigo - just making a point). Now we have some in college, all but one (sorry Blake) has their own car, and look at those perfect teeth! Our New Hampshire folks were missed! Now on to Christmas!!!

Haley is 19? Really?

Yes - 19!!! We loaded up the car and headed to K-Town on Friday. Haley's sorority formal was that night, the UT/Vandy game was Saturday ~ after which we celebrated Haley's birthday. Kara and I shopped all day in Pigeon Forge while everyone else was at the game. We all met at the Chop House for dinner, then headed up the mountain to the chalet for cake and presents. (Haley didn't think she was getting a cake.)

Of course she had a cake! Her boyfriend, Cody, took care of that for her. He made it himself! ahhhhhhhh!

...then there was the cake fight! Kids. You gotta love'm! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HALEY!

I Did it All by Myself!

Does that sound like a preschool teacher? Well, I am in shock that I was able to load the PhotoShow, and that it actually works! Check it out. It was so much fun to make!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Halloween Parties - Part 2!

It wasn't easy, but we managed to line up all of our little cuties before the festivities began. Once they were seated, they seemed to enjoy being in the spotlight! The picture does not do them justice...I wish I had a close-up of each one, because each one looked precious!!! We had a fun party after going on a parade to "Miss" Pat's office. Take a look at the cookies that Grant's mom made---

WOW!
Now that's a
cute cookie!!!

Halloween Parties - Part 1

So it begins... Halloween parties at Otter Creek! Thanks to Emmy's mommy, I now have a copy of a rare moment--- all 12 little spooks (plus an arm) sitting still for a picture. Doesn't "Miss" Eva look absolutely adorable in her UT bloomers and dinger thingie on her head? And I must not leave out the blinking ghost necklace! Needless to say, we have a great time together with the two year olds. It's hard for me to believe that this is my 10th year with her!

The Little School on the Hill

Here it is~ the little school on the hill where I get to work~ if you can call it work. I love what I do. I love working with such an amazing group of Godly women. I love being with little children and seeing them grow and learn each day. Praise God for Otter Creek!

12 Little Pumpkins!

It's a tough call, but I think that Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love the warm colors and the cool weather. It's fun to bring a little bit of that into our classroom at school. Our first project was to paint a pumpkin and turn it into a Jack-O-Lantern. Aren't they just the cutest things?!

Meet "Belle!"

"Belle" is the newest member of the Davidson family. We have had her for two weeks, but it only took meeting her to fall in love with her! She is three months old, and has the energy of the Eveready Bunny -- she keeps going and going! Belle is a "people kitty," wanting to be where the people are, and enjoys being played with and cuddled. The only problem is that we found her before our initial plan to find a kitty during Christmas break when Haley would be home. (Sorry, Haley!!) Our house changed way too much when Haley left for UT and Moe went missing.... It has helped some having a cute little kitty in the house to greet us when we get home. Everyone is looking foward to Oct. 11 when Haley is home for Fall Break ~ and everyone will will be together!
